So there is this app in the market called, "veloid". It's for sharing a bike? I don't know i don't get it. Maybe cause Seattle is too cold for a bike.
Anyways, I reviewed it and said "Who rides a bike? How about a wife sharing app".
Well when it actually posted my review it just says "who rides a bike". But, where it says "your comment" it still talks about the wife stuff.......
censorship is everywhere around me.
Honestly they are trying to build a following and only display useful information. Application suggestions don't belong there unless they are realistically pertinent to the developer in question, and even then you are provided their email.
There are plenty of forums for us to joke on and I totally understand that kind of censoring. Your comment was not even technically a review.
I did chuckle though
Actually if you click on Read all Comments in the market your full comment is there.
I get nervous about the reviews anyway... ever notice how it can have a bunch of 5 stars... then a bunch of 1 stars?? Make you wonder if the developer and friends build it up and then users come on and give it the 1 star reviews. LOL
People will install a program that they have no use for, then rate it down. People need to realize what they are downloading an all.
Just because they have no use for it doesn't mean they should downvote it. But hey, who am I to tell them what to do? I don't really care, it's just not fair to the developers.
i laughed at all the people who have no idea what SSH even is downloading connectbot and then reviewing it with 1 star saying "how do i use this? what do i put for host?"
No worries, I would be pretty pissed also, if I found that they were censoring the reviews of apps.
