Growing Android Market

Seems the size of the app called android market keeps growing on the phone. No way to clear cache from the app either.
Other issues include apps using the same icon and similer names so its hard to tell if its an update to an app you already have installed or a new app. done the install then had to go in and do uninstalls right away. Kinda annoying.
