How to control G1 from Computer?

Does anybody know how to control your G1 from your computer? It's sort of like the opposite of RemoteDroid. Anybody?

Nope, not unless you can install a VNC server on it or something like that.

If it's rooted, you can telnet in and run commands from a more comfortable full keyboard. That's about it at the moment.

^That'll let your G1 control your computer remotely, but doesn't allow a computer to control a G1. You'd need a G1-compiled vncserver. I don't know if anyone's ported that yet . . . or if VNC even would work with the Android GUI.

Can't you connect to it using adb/sdk ?

I used the sdk provided at developersite for android .I wanted to test a particular website developed by my team in it.The application came only in half of the screen i.e it did not occuoy the full android scrren.The same application on the other emulators came up on the complete screen.I am not sure if there are any settings required....Does any one have any idea on it...Is there any other software through which i can control the android phone through computer
