    Default Keep App in Memory

Some apps that I use are pushed out of memory and do not stay active. The way the Android OS is made, it makes room for new apps on the fly.

In the latest Cyanogen ROM, there is an option added in spare parts to keep home in memory. This helps to get rid of the lag when returning to the homescreen.

I am wondering if there is an app out there that will do this with another app. Keep the app in memory so that it stays active. Anyone know of an app out here that accomplishes this?

as of now there is no such app although it is a good idea...as OKC said, running cyans latest and the 10mb ram hack should make your system fly as it is

in taskiller, you can select an app mot to kill. the system does a pretty good job of keeping it alive. on the nexus one it works perfectly, on the g1 it works a majority of the time.

Not sure if this will work for exactly what I'm trying to do...but I'll give it a try anyway.

I'm trying to keep Google Talk alive. It's important that I stay connected for certain reasons and I keep getting logged out.
