Attached is a screen shot of what happens when I try launching the emulator in a Windows Vista 64 bit environment. It's some kind of weird "argument" any ideas anyone? I would love to use this tool!
I followed the instructions exactly, I even watched someone do it on YouTube. However this guy was using Windows XP, would this cause this issue?

it also has an error that it cannot write to the AppData folder. Is User Account Control (UAC) still enabled? (it is enabled by default with Vista). If so, this causes problems with programs that need to write to the disk as you will not get a pop-up...
To disable UAC, go into Control Panel, under User Accounts, select 'Turn User Account Control on or off' and uncheck the 'Use UAC' box. You will need to reboot for the settings to work...
If it's a problem with permissions you could just put all the files in an accessible location.

I suggest that you move the sdk folder to the root (ie. c:\android). Also, did you add the tools path to the environment variables?
