Missed Call questions

Ok, I was wondering how Missed Call works.

Im getting a G1 Friday and I currently have a Sidekick and I want to try and get the G1 to work like the sidekick in that sense. How does it work? Does the vibration feature work good? How close to the sidekick will I be getting?

never had a sidekick so no idea how that works. Missed call app allows you to set the led, vibrate, and audio notifications for missed calls, sms/mms, calendar, application, and bluetooth services.

For example, sms's, you can set the led color, and interval(blink pattern), vibrate on/off, vibrate pattern, what sound you want, and if you want the notification to repeat, how often.

Vibration isn't as strong. IM is weak on the G1. Everything else is better on the G1.
