I keep all of my shortcuts organized in folders on my home screen. When using mybackup I noticed that when I back of my homescreen shortcuts and restore them, that my shorcuts in the folders did not get restored. I didn't think anything about it chalking it up to limitations of the program. Well, I recently backed up my homescreen shortcuts and noticed that the shortcut number being backed up was twice what it should be. Long story short. The shortcuts that never got restored were still in my settings.db file on my phone. I had to pull settings.db off my phone and remove all duplicates. The duplicates aparently got restored to the file but not to the folders on my homescreen.
I don't know if this has been brought of before, but I thought you should know. I did alert the developer.
Thanks for the heads up.
I just thought the program couldn't read the shortcuts in the folders, would be nice to get that fixed.
I found the database but what should I do about it? Did you see duplicate entries in sqlite?
It will be fixed in the next version
Thanks

Since you are here Orcking.. it would be cool to have MyBackup be able to save your contacts to a csv file.
How does the scheduled backup work in MyBackup?
I've had it on for a while and I check the log, and it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Just get an attempted backup but not successful.
And I don't know why sometimes it's successful and sometimes not.
I have scheduled backup set at midnight, I notice a status icon appears at midnight.
Also If possible, If the phone is in use (i'm using it, i'm talking, etc..) that a popup appears a minute or two before the scheduled time warning me that a scheduled backup is going to happen and I'm given a choice of "postpone (for 10 minutes)" or "cancel scheduled backup".
Also, I would like the option of having the phone reboot after a successful scheduled backup.
I'd be happy to pay for this once these suggestions are in place![]()
