I haven’t seen it mentioned yet, but I just got the myTouch 3G with T-Mobile. I really like it and am looking for gps software. I had TeleNav (att nav) on my old blackberry and heard that they just released it for my phone on T-Mobile (http://blog.telenav.com/blog/2009/08...le-mytouch-3g/). Anybody have T-Mobile with different gps software? If yes, how do you like it? Also, anybody else have the myTouch?
I don't have a Sapphire, and I don't use GPS directions, I kinda have a GRUDGE with Google Maps/directions :|
But there are a lot of apps out there for it, a lot are in Beta and some are pretty spot on but they charge you 10 bucks a month to keep using.
I have MT. Its excellent! I tried the free trail of telenav on my G1. It was accurate and nice looking, but for me the standard google maps has never been wrong, and the others aren't worth the money in my case. I dont travel much but I use it to find everything here in my city. Which Blackberry did you have? I came from a 8320 before the G1. Huge difference.
CoPilot Live looks like a good option. I have Nav systems in both my cars and a very good sense of direction. However, this seems very cool.

I have a MyTouch and love it, the battery life makes me not miss my G1 at all! I love that my phone lasts a day and a half with more stuff running than my G1 had. To respond to your question, I find that google maps works great for me, I never travel more than a couple hours away from home and it guides me everywhere I wanna go. Turn by turn would be nice, but not necessary for the money for me.
