Synchrospot
thats the coolest thing ive heard of, dont know if its on the iphone or other phone but that has so much potential just imaginSynchroSpot’s mission is to provide users with a whole new class of location-based mobile software. Location-based reminders allow users to input reminders into their phone and the phone will asynchronously alert them whenever they are near the given location with their reminder (e.g. Pick up milk the next time you’re at the supermarket). Advertisers and the user will also find the offers feature valuable. (e.g. A nearby clothing store offers you 20% off your clothing purchase if you stop in within the next 3 hours and show the ad on your phone). Advertisers can be large national chains or local mom and pop shops as even the smallest vendors will be able to manage their own ads via a web site.
"put gas in car"
"pick up clothes and dry cleaners"
"get six pack at liqour store"
them this app will actually remind you when your close by to the place![]()

That is pretty tight.
I was reading about this app and was intrigued. I've watched the videos about how various android apps can use info from eachother and integrate them together.
I'm hoping this app will take advantage of the calendar, contacts, and maps in the following ways:
If you need to pick up something from the dry cleaners on Thursday, it will show on your calendar. If you have the drycleaners address in the contacts, you will be a note attached to the contact with the reminder. If you're looking at google maps on the day you need to pick up the item form the dry cleaners, a little pushpin would show up at the location with the reminder.
All this would be in addition to the reminder you would get when you are withing x distance of the location. It shouldn't be too hard to create this seamless ties in between multiple aps so that you don't have to remember to check your reminders or simply wait till you get close tothe location.
Thats a good point too, i didnt see it anywhere in the description but almost all the other map/gps based apps have this, so i dont see why this one woudnt, if your reminder is "Get milk" the little map pops up, you select one of the push pins, and get your direction if needed

OMG....this little G1 is gonna be so awesome!![]()
yes sirrr
thats another cool thing bout it, you can probaly pre program your favorite gas station/supermarket etc.........Users can record and name arbitrary locations for future use. They can create reminders that will automatically alert the owner when they are near a given location (based on a pre-determined walking or driving radius).

Great app - I would definitely use it - just so I do not have to think about the smallest stuff ever that are required to be done![]()

Well.... you'd have to think about it at least once and put it into your phone. It's not like it will know that there's no milk in your fridge....
dang.... now I think I want one of those smart fridges that know everything that's inside and they spit out a shopping list for you.
Yes, this application is an amazing idea. My favorite part of this - is the ability to use the applications engine to drive my own applications! If you read about our business services, this idea and technology will be applied to our own application.
For example:
We will have it possible for a "Call Reminder" to be assigned to an employee if their customer calls them on their day off. When they walk into the door of work, this call reminder comes up on their phone with all the information from the call.
Dang now that is cool. I have made a grocery list in my phone, went to the store without even looking at it.
