Ringtone won't change even tho other is selected

I have tried numerous times to select another ringtone for my G1. I have tried different ones offer in the ringtones that came on the phone and also using an MP3 clip I made using Ringdroid, but nothing. That same ringtone keeps playing! PLEASE HELP!

I have turned off my G1 several times to clear everything, but still no success. Can anyone PLEASE help me get a new ringtone to work???
