thanks to herbie7159 i have the androidsan tweak tool for g1 app and the screanshot app and the task manager app.
The only question i have is how does one work androidsan tweak tool for g1 to work. I am a nub at root and i just got it last night..what i want is a autorotate throughout the phone....can anyone help me out.

start droid sans tool and select remount as read/write, then select auto rotate and finally reboot.

Just copy the DREAMIMG to your phone and follow the first half to downgrade. Then you'll be on RC29/RC7 and you can wait for the OTA update to hit your phone.

Did you look at the two screen shots on post 70? One is Dev 19 and the
other Dev 1 I believe.

I'm going to sticky this, because it's very useful.

However, to the OP - can you add a simple section at the bottom of your original post, detailing a few useful things to do once one has root access? ie the commands to move apps to sdcard, etc. That would be great.

hey guys i have noiced that my phone has auto rotate all throughout except when viewing pictures in the stock picture gallary. is this just me or do is it normal?
