let me know when u find a way to run and install the apps on the sd card cus im still reading about it and im confused somewhat

ok rebooting, now im going to re-register wit google account....

ok, got that screen where it boots, then i hit the action key "track ball" and then it brought me to the rainbow screen, took off the batt and put it back on, now i re-registered wit google. on the home screen hit enter 2 times typed wat u said, whoa there it goes phone just rebooted

Yeah...youll be fine. After it boots, check to see if you are on RC29 then continue on.

You don't need to take out the battery, Just hit the Talk, Menu and Power button to reboot.

oh ok, good looks ma dude. im in the recovery screen now. i started it, its still loading.
so once thats done i shud have jf 1.41 right.
now if u could help on the apps being ran from the sd card it would b much appreciated ma man

Hey soo... am I going to lose all my contacts and apps when I do this?..... am I going to really miss out on an awsome g1 experience by not rooting? If I don't use lennix and write code, can rooting still benifit me?

no not going to lose contacts they are synced to gmail. in my opinion you'll have a better experience, and anything done can fairly easily be undone.

my brotha, i backed up all my apps
using " astro " and " mybackup " those are apps
imm going to reinstall them right now ill let u kno if i get all my settings shortcuts apps and so on back to my phone gimme a sec
