i have tried using the sdk emulator and a command prompt window opens then closes but i get nothing so i gave up i have tried this is vista and tried running it with xp sp2 as well on a xp machine i just cant get the thing to run? any ideas?
Folks, I don't think that's the emulator they plan on having. Obviously it will be a SNES emulator!
JK.
It's more than likely going to be completely different from the SDK emulator. I'm betting flash-based just to show potential buyers how it operates.
Go StartMenu>>Run and at the "Open:" dialog type "cmd" without the quotes.
run the emulator from within command prompt, i.e. C:\Android\tools\emulator.exe (wherever the EXE is located on your disk)
Read the error message that is printed to the command prompt. I initially had an issue with read-write access to the Application Data folder. If this is your problem manually create the folder it is asking for. Worked for me.
I seriusly freaking love these forums so much every one is so fast to respond and so helpful
Worked like a charm Thanks a ton![]()

I am sure it will be a more user friendly easy online version of the SDK.
