Updates tab for the market

so who else would like to see a tab or section within the Android Market for "Updates"?

like as in if the market got a new updated version out and ready for upgrade/download, the market would have a designated section for all the apps that you've installed and lists/notifies you of which apps have updates available.
hope i didn't sound too confusing lol.

cuz i keep finding myself checking the market then seeing an app on the recent list that i've installed already. i check the details of the apps and it's a new updated version of that app. then i go download the newer version as an update to that app.
i just think it would be great(and more convenient) if they had a designated tab or section for updates for the apps you've already installed. kinda like Installer on the iPhone hehe.

hey maybe include it in with the OTA that google is holding off on releasing lol

niiiiiceeeee i just got my update message!!! its freakin 1:38am!!!
o plus i know that some of the programs do have that e.g. ShopSavvy i used it today then gave me a message that an update/new version is available with update button....

i'm RC29 as of right now!!!

dang... still rc19... but ya, i agree. i dont always know that there is an update so it would be nice for that too...

Why not an email when an update is available, the site should be able to do that.

or an update notification within the app or something...

How about these options:

1) Change the =installed= app's launch icon slightly to represent a new update being available. Like, add a red star to a corner.

2) Under Applications [management], add an option to check for updates for installed apps.

3) Under Applications [management], add an option to have an email sent to the phone's Gmail account when an update is available.

I'm more likely to notice #1.

This is functionality they are hoping to put in soon. Also they are trying to make it so that when you upload and upgrade - you dont lose all your comments. Bitchy and whiny as some of them are
