There isn't one according to Engadget. You will need a mini-USB adapter.
the browser on the iphone is much better and faster. watched a video from after the confrence comparing them!

Hey guys,
Let's consider this a rumor until we get official word from TMobile like we did on the 1GB cap, but word on the street is they WILL be including an ExtUSB to 3.5mm adapter with the G1, but probably not on the first run of phones. In other words, sounds to me like they want to fix this little mistake as well, but not at the cost of pissing off all their pre-order customers by delaying the shipments?
Maybe they will have a little program where us pre-order monkeys can get one sent to us free after the fact? I'll already have one by then (it's like 5 bucks! Gimme a break!), but it's cool that they're going to include it.

I am sure they will include an adapter for the 3.5 headphones.
Otherwise, how are we going to listen to the music? Though the speaker? Nah...
This is from engadget:
I wish they would have just included it from the start (although it's not a HUGE deal for me), but it's nice that they'll be giving it with the phone for free in the future. We were told by T-Mobile reps that an ExtUSB to 3.5mm adapter would be included with the phone to allow for the use of regular earbuds / headphones, but that adapter wouldn't make it into the first shipments do to production constraints.
Unfortunately, it seems like the pre-orderers won't get it.
i sure hope the cost of the adapter is less than the difference between the preorder price and the price of when you order it at a later time

If I call them later on and ask for it I'm sure they'll send it. No biggie.
Or you can just buy it here at the Android Store for $5.95.

Well, that's what we're saying. The phone did NOT come with an adapter. And most/all of our pre-orderes will not. they WILL come with headphones. This is the same as most of HTC's devices. However, possibly due to more whining from the general public, they are now saying (supposedly) that they will include the adapter in later shipments. For the first shipment, it's too late. Boxes are sealed, ready to roll, etc. The adapters are cheap.
