    Default Ambient Music Player

    http://ambientmp.sourceforge.net/index.html

Support for Ampache server browsing and synchronization. It has its own small Ampache server that allows users to exchange tracks directly between devices. It has support for M3U/PLS/XSPF/WPL playlists. The player starts in offline mode by default, in which no Internet connections are attempted. Karaoke support. The player requires Android 1.0-r1. Search support: Magnatune, Shoutcast, and Ampache.

    great little program

currently only runs offline, hopefully with the next update it can run online and we can access the .pls .m3u playlists off of shoutcast!

Works good but I have a hard time hitting the icons and pick from lists as they are too small. Can be done with the trackball but would be nice to use my obviously fat fingers.

The trackball does not work for me, it just selects the center most icon option. The app crashes constantly also. I agree with birdtales that the icons on the UI should be bigger to allow easier touch navigation but it does look nice.

Yep. All the same issues here. This app is not really my cup of tea right now. It's trying to pack a little too much on this small screen and not using the space very efficiently. But it looks to have some great potential! This will be one to watch if the developers keep an ear on the users and continue to develop it...

Ah, nice to know that shoutcast streaming will soon be available.
