I heard a great Android app for education is Flash Card Maker Pro. I haven't downloaded yet but I heard a bunch of parents talking about it at my daughter's school. Do have any recommendations like this app targeted toward children?

I have a great app that I use to quiz my daughters on their geography knowledge, it's called World Countries and it's a lightweight app that carries an immense amount of information about pretty much any country in the world - info like population, language, capital, currency, land mass. It's very good. You can get it on the market. I reviewed it here:
