Still can't get video on wireless. I can understand the t-mobile blocking it over their network but surely the beeb aren't blocking anyone and t-mobile are not in the loop at all over wifi?

Just downloaded it, but unfortunately not working for me over 3G or wi-fi here in the office (BT).
I'll try it over wifi when I get home (Virgin - my broadband, not me)
Rooted and booted in the UK

BT! That's a new one, seems Virgin have friends!
On this BT connection, what happens if you go to http://3gp-acl.bbc.co.uk/ ?
Correct, T-Mobile don't (shouldn't) have any say in the WiFi of the device.
Which ISP are you on?
The BBC apparently have only certified '3 and Vodafone' to use iPlayer on mobile, but I use O2 and that works fine... it looks maybe the BBC are refusing T-Mobile connections but still investigating this.
I kinda like the idea of rooting but I'm a bit worried about what I'll lose if I do.
Will I still get auto notification of updates for example?
Do I install the normal Cupcake or some hacked version - if the latter how do I know it's stable?
I'm very tempted though...

Installed latest update from market and cap report this **working** on virgin media cable in the north-east over wifi, not working over t-mobile 3g (although it seems that is just the way it is with t-mobile)
