Beebplayer - iPlayer on your Android Device

i have just emailed david johnson because i could not find a link, his reply was: "The beebPlayer application has been discontinued and is no longer supported."

does anyone know why it was removed and is there another solution for andrioid 1.5?

I bought my irobot apad specifically for listening to music and wifi radio, it would appear to be a waste of money.

Do hope someone has a solution - please
