Can another UK G1 user confirm something for me?

I'm trying to get hold of the Volume Control app from the market, but when I do a search on "Volume" it never appears.

However, if I do the same search on http://www.cyrket.com/ I see it listed.

I can't find it either, tried searching for volume, volume control, etc.

same thing happens to me with pacman. No i dont live in the UK

I can't find it on the market. Presumably there is some sort of lag between cyrket and the market we see on phone

The first comment for the app was posted on the 23/12/2008, so that's some serious lag!

Thanks to all for confirming that I am not going mad. I wonder why we're not seeing some apps?

The markets are different. When a developer makes his app available in the market, they can choose what territories it will appear in.

The cyrket website displays the American marketplace AFAIK.

I have sent an email to the developer to ask if they can make this available in the uk market and/or make the apk available from the web if not on the market.

FYI, I'm in the states, and I don't see any lag between what's on the web and what's in the Market.. they are exactly the same!

See if the developer of cyrket will create a version for those of you on the other side of the pond.

As someone else mentioned, the market for US and England are not the same.
