Download android app directly to my computer?

Hi,

Does anyone know how to download android apps directly to your computer? Doesn't seem to be a way to to it from the android market website - do you have to go directly to each publisher you want an app from? I just would prefer not to download directly to my phone first.

if you have a g1 handy just back em up with astro and copy them off the sd card...

You can't do it from the market website.

Your only hope is that the developers post the APK's themselves on their official websites.
