    Default Gmote

So - anyone tried it? If so have you tried Gmote beta v2.0?!
For those who don't know Gmote is a remote control for your computer. You download the app on your phone. You download the software on your computer and bamo!

Basically it becomes a basic controller over wifi for your
    • media (through VLC)
    • wireless keyboard
    • mouse
    • a simple web browser
They greatly improved the smoothness of the mouse and furthered their app by releasing the GmoteServer for linux.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Beta v2.0 is in the market or their website (update!)

Make sure you remove the old Gmote first.
    • First close the GmoteServer and just delete the GmoteServer folder in your Programs folder.
    • Also delete it from Start>Startup
I'm just putting these guys up because I really think this thing is the killer app so far.

Word to that - I had no idea they'd brought it that far. I think my original comment was "meh - needs features" and every single thing I thoguth at that point she just mentioned..

Awesome. Good find - keep us updated.

The mouse control is extremely smooth, well has less lag, trade off is that it can't pinpoint exactly, Clicking links a bit tougher.

They turned the scrooll ball into the scroller on the mouse.

You can stream audio from your computer to your phone.
You will be able to stream videos (i haven't gotten it working, haven't the time to find out why) from your computer to your phone.

You can browse the web on your phone and if you like, zap that page onto the computer screen for more functionality.

It's pretty much a diNovo Mini with a touch screen.

I can use touchpad to move the mouse, but the scroll wheel doesn't do anything, and I can't click while using it.

    edit.
