Google Chrome

Hi everyone. I recently got my G1 and I'm loving it. I have searched the forum and may simply be blind, so if this has already been posted please forgive me. Is there a mobile version of google chrome browser for the g1?

You should try the mini opera is nice I'm using it.

Oh ok, because I called T-Mob last night and the Tech said the browser that comes with the phone is not chrome (she said she has a g1 and uses chrome on her pc) and she wasn't sure if google's chrome browser was available for the g1, but she's been looking for it also.

The rendering engine of Chrome and the G1's default browser (and as it happens, iPhone's browser also) is the same, WebKit.

G1's browser has some enhancements for Android (zooming, etc...) but it is basically the same.

If you're looking for the "snappy" feel of your desktop Chrome on the G1, you'll never get it, unfortunately. The problem is not the software, it's the hardware
