Default Logmein Remote Control of Desktop

As of last night (maybe earlier), logmein.com updated their website to allow the g1 to remotely control your pc. You need to change the remote control setting from activex to html under the options when you log in. It may run a bit slow, but it is a great start!

It isn't exactly a program, more like an easily configured, web-based vpn. I'd recommend setting up orb to view your webcam.

Actually, the reason I tested this last night was to launch orb on my desktop so I could view my webcam.

I can access my desktop from the G1 using Logmein but I cant control anything. I can't click any links on my destop using the G1's trackball or using my finger.

How do you click on links?
    How do you log out?

I can't figure out how to navigate away from whatever screen happens to be on my desktop when I log in. Anyone figure it out?

If you can't click, then refresh the page. It isn't working 100% yet, but it is a start. As far as logging out, I just navigated away from the page.

Once you log in, click on Preferences>>Remote Control Settings>>Change "Default Remote Control" from activeX to html.

Hello. I have a customer who is trying to access his computer using LogMeIn on the G1. I switched him to HTML mode, so now we can click, but you cannot get to the entire screen without zooming out. (It cuts off and will not scroll right at the edge of the G1 screen.)

When you zoom out the remote screen is so small that it is useless.

Anyone know how to make it show the horizontal scrollbar so we can access the remainder of the screen at 100% zoom?

(This problem occurs when using the Android emulator also, so it is definitely not related to only his hardware.)

    Thanks,
    Tom

I found PhoneMyPC on Android Market and it works well for me. It is still in beta and is easy to use. LMI is a pain to use from my G1 browser so I quit trying.
