Music Player and Playlist?

What I like on the Iphone/Ipod is the playlist feature
what I also like about the blackberry is that when you put stuff in folders, they will act as playlists, is there any way to create that kind of playlist without manually punching them in yourself on the G1, or is there a better music player?...please let me know

Media Monkey works well with syncing with the G1. You can build playlists in Media Monkey probably easier than on the G1.

well damn media monkey wont work for mac, but i found a program named "salling music sync" that seems to work like itunes
