I have my phone backed up with MyBackup Pro to my sd card. When I do a reset will it format my sd card or will I be good to go with the restore once I redowndowd MyBackup Pro.
Thanks
A factory reset or wipe will never format your SD card.
Like rusty said a reset or wipe won't harm your card. Went you're done just re-download mybackup pro and you're good. I have been using MBP for quite some time. Just looked and I have 25 data and 23 app files saved. LOL so many ROMs to play with so little time

When you restore apps with MBP it asks you to enable "Install from unknown source" in the settings.
If you install apps via the MBP restore function, will the Android system check the Market for updates, or will those apps be orphaned from the update system?
T-Mo Tech Supp shrugged their shoulders on this one, mumbling something about the restored apps not having a server certificate associated with them as truly-downloaded apps do.
you can use atrackdog to check for updates. gradually, the market will pick them all up.
