i have to say that my opinion on this browser is that it is FAST

but of course its not as nice,

good-
its damn fast
shows the entire page when a page is loaded, then you can tap to zoom
double tap to select links
built in feed support

bad-
jumpy
closes out completely when you leave the application
not too clean, of course it IS opera

EDIT:: and no i have yet to comment it. hah, i dont bother trying to be first and if i were my comments would be, well, comments. of course!

I installed it but i prefer the built in browser. I must agree it seems like its optimized for the trackball of a blackberry. The browser needs to be more "finger friendly" like the android browser.

Yeah i'm not really feeling this browser. it felt like i was on one of my old mobile browsers from early 2000

I prefer the built browser in as well. Two things that I notice that i didn't like were 1. the scrolling isn't as smooth as the built in browser and 2. i couldn't get used to the zooming in and out.

It's cool that this app is available.

However the android browser is the best browser available on a cell phone.
It renders perfect, and unlike the iphone it doesn't make the white boxes when you scroll up and down and it has to re-render the page (this is annoying about the iphone). For this reason I think it beats out the iphone/safari browser (when android adds multi-touch it will be golden), blackberry storm and any other browser do not touch the android browser as they render like crap and make surfing the web on your phone a laborous process.

Tried it out, and it's faster in some reguards than the default broswer.

But overall operation seems like a pain in the ass to me. Over complicates the experience in my opinion, but I'm glad to see Opera throwing their hate into Android game.

Coming from a user that doesn't have 3G in my area I have to say im really liking this browser.... 1 word... SPEED!!! this thing flys! i still like the default browser beter but for quick browsing this is AMAZING!
