I love my new G1 so far, but I'm having a problem with Imeem.
I install Imeem and it says it downloaded and intalled. BUt when I try to run the program it tells me that "The application imeem (process com.imeem.gynoid) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."
I've tried opening it several times and even uninstalling and reinstalling. Nothing seems to be working and so far i haven't been able to open it even once. I haven't been able to find any info on this issue. Am i the only one having it? Anyone have any ideas what the problem might be?
Thanks
yes! i my gf has that problem right now. i tried uninstalling and rebooting. i wonder wat the problem is.
but it was working fine yesterday. this just happened all of a sudden.
I just started using imeem for the first time today. What a great program!
I downloaded Imeem earlier today, then later found Imeem again (not downloaded). It turns out that they have a new version out already. Which could be why the Imeem from yesterday doesn't work anymore.

Mine was giving the same error about an hour ago and now it works fine... Strange...

Hey guys. I work at imeem and wrote the Android app.
We've had a couple reports of this crash-on-start bug. We haven't been able to reproduce the bug on the phones we have here and so we're trying to get more information from people that have been having this problem. Hopefully we can fix this bug with a little help from you guys...
For starters, if you could PM me the following information about your phone:
Phone Color
Data from the "About Phone" section of the Settings application:
-Model Number
-Firmware version
-Baseband version
-Kernel version
-Build number
Phone Serial Number (this is kind of involved. You have to remove the back cover and take out the battery. It should be written at the bottom of a white sticker. It starts with "S/N:")
The brand of the microSD card that came with your phone.
A list of any other applications that you've installed that didn't come with the phone.
If any of you are developers and have the SDK installed, it would be really helpful to get the LogCat output from the phone when the imeem app crashes. If you have no idea what that is, don't worry about it.
We're trying to get the bug reproduced here, but there are so many variables, it's kind of hard. Any additional information you can provide would help a lot.

Ok folks, we tracked down a phone with this problem and figured out a fix. We'll have a bugfix update available in the morning that will have a fix for this problem, but if you really want your imeem now, here's what you do:
1. Open up the Maps application
2. Hit the menu button, choose the "My Location" menu item.
3. Wait for the phone to get some sort of fix on your location. Don't bother waiting for the GPS fix. The normal network fix is enough
4. Exit the maps application
5. Launch imeem.
Yes, kind of weird remedy to the bug![]()
