SMS Popup feedback

Hi all,

I'm the author of the SMS Popup app in the Market - I have been getting a ton of feedback via e-mail and thought it would be far easier to get a discussion thread going on a forum.

First of all, I just uploaded a new version of the app (v0.9.3) to the Market - it address a lot of the issues and suggestions I have received. Go check it out if you haven't already.

Otherwise I'm just after thoughts, bug reports and suggestions/feature requests.

The custom notification was a nice touch.
Being able to change to change the LED = beautiful.
Having the icon be default messaging icon = beautiful.
(ChompSMS = Green envelope icon).

Also, the mark as read option cleared up a lot of my issues.
I hated having to 'read' the message twice.
All in all I love it, thanks for it!

i'd like to see the popup take up a larger portion of the screen for longer messages, if possible. it'd be nice to see as much of an SMS as can be displayed onscreen when popups are enabled. if you already addressed this, great.

^I'm pretty sure you can click and drag to see the full message.

it would still be nice to see as much as possible w/o touching anything though.

If a sms pops up if you hit close it should clear the notification because it will continue to pop up after a while. Other than that its great

And yea lol, I wasn't saying your point wasn't valid.
I was just thinking that with:
- Pinesal's suggestion for more picture space.
- Your suggestion for more text space.
It'd kinda turn into a SMS Screen-Takeover as opposed to a pop-up.

Again, not saying it's a horrible idea.
Just stating that if it is considered by the dev, there should be size settings.
Some like big pics, some like big text space, some wouldn't need any space increases, so choice is necessary.
That's just my opinion on the matter.
