TwitVid Upload Review [Update, NOW FREE!]

Here's a great little app from the fine folks at SmudgeIt.

At a cost of just £0.69 in the market (about $1.13) [EDIT 14/08 - THE APP IS NOW FREE!!!!]

this app provides a quick and easy way to tweet your videos via TwitVid.com which is quickly becoming for videos what TwitPic is for pictures, ie the de-facto standard for its type of media.

This app works in 3 steps and it couldn't be simpler.

Step 1: Enter your Twitter credentials

There's a save button underneath the password input, hit that after entering your details and you are good to go!

Step 2: Select your video

Goto your video gallery and find the video you want to upload. Long press on the thumbnail and select "Share", you will see a menu like this:

Select Twitvid Upload, of course.

Step 3: Tweet a message and upload!

If you wish to enter a message, do so and tick the box. Then just hit upload and the upload progress bar will begin. When it's done, so are you! Your video and tweet is on twitter and TwitVid.com!

This is a great app and definately worth the money. The developer is responsive and fixes bugs very quickly.

It'd be very easy to start bloating up an app like this and trying to turn it into a big overblown client, which we don't need! As it is, it is damn near perfect for the job and I highly recommend it for anyone that likes to tweet videos.
