No, no homescreen, no radio, nothing really...you can test out the virtual keyboard (REALLLLLY NICE, nicer than I imagined to be honest) and the new dialer is sweet. overall if this is the version of cupcake we will be getting the UI improvements alone are worth it.



Its the HTC Magic rom...on the G1...not really ported or nothing...because its only semi functional.

I was testing this and now want to go back to rc33, how do i do that? i renamed the update.zip and my screen shows the T-Mobile G1 on the screen and wont load. Can anyone provide me with the most updated link please and tell me what im missing

Cupcake has already been merged back with trunk, there's no choice but to have it going forward.

Really like to get the stereo BT.

It's really the only thing from holding me back from liking the phone. I bought it to eliminate as many other devices as I can, and right now, I'd like to be able to use my BT Motorola headphones with it while working out.

There is a lot about the phone I don't like, but adding the Stereo BT would push it to more overall like than dislike.

One gets the feeling that there is more than just verifying that the code works going on in the background. Especially when you read about gentlemens agreements between Apple and Google to not release multi-touch.

Google has their hands in too many peoples pockets, and tries to please them all. Hopefully they aren't just copying everyone else's IP and then trying to reverse engineer it so that it doesn't look like what it came from. If that's the case, releases with useful features could take a while.

why would they lead people to a no no!! i meant ever since i got ma G1 that they will give us a video recorder and a stereo bluetooth....that's all i'm asking for the people who will develope the G1....i've been a nokia user ever since i started getting my own cp but i became so fascinated with G1 bec it's a smartphone with a qwarty keyboard like a sidekick that's why i switch...but...with this update it's not complete with it you know what i mean and now they are leading people to stray and we're expecting alot from this...they can't decide what is it?!? are you guys going to give us the cupcake or not we need some comfort food for our G1s come on pppls. That's all im asking is to give us what you guys promise....
