Gotta wait for the T-mobile update.zip to hit the Internets. No one's snagged it yet. Just the Dev1 version, which won't work on non-rooted retail G1s.

Hmm, don't know if I should stay with rooted cupcake or go for the JF 1.5 when both become available.

I haven't much luck with JF before as my phone got locked into a continuous loop, twice.

    Apps2SD isn't a problem, I have 33mb with browser taking up 12mb, so 45mb if I clear it.

Only thing I'm missing is custom theme?

For some reason, my phone is running much faster stock than it did rooted and modded.

Possibly because I dl'ed a bunch of apps. I don't know. I'm not really missing the custom theme that much.

I want I want - And actually I was going to give up on root access when cupcake released, but with the banning of the wifi tether and needing root access for the app I do have that still works - I have to keep it with the mr JF..

Did you rename the file? And do you still have the manual update instructions?

    Power off
    Power on + Home pressed
    Triangle appear
    ALT+L
    ALT+S

    But doesn't work by v1nce

WIth everything I'm seeing, this appears to be OTA for the dev phones, not the retail T-Mobile G1 phones. This is why it doesn't work, it doesn't have the proper signature for a retail G1 update.
This is NOT the T-Mobile G1 OTA.
