In the Pacific Northwest and I'm also waiting on my cupcake. Hopefully it happens before I head out of country next week.

And yes, I know I could download it and will if it's not pushed to me by time I leave. But for company reasons I'm waiting on the OTA to make sure it is 100% T-Mobile.

I think the news here goes through one of those 1990s style "when we feel like it" filters... Every G1 owner I know had it before it was posted here.

Are the admins even G1 owners anymore? I know all of the startup staff for the site jumped ship after launch... then the news came down dropping now to I think just when they're bored enough to copy and paste some andblog or engadget... You have to take this community sheerly for its members now, not at all as a news source...

Thanks for the feedback (and I'm not being sarcastic, honestly). The startup staff - Vincent, Ewdi and myself - are still around, though we're all stretched across the various sites we run. It's proved tricky to find consistent, dedicated writers to give you guys the front-page content you deserve, and that's something we're still working on. We definitely have a lot of love for our AC members and we're always keen to hear how you think we can improve the site, even if it's not something we can logistically implement at that point in time.

What I would say is that if you see something - in the forum here or elsewhere - that you think should be on the AC frontpage, let us know. The tips page is linked up at the top (http://androidcommunity.com/send-tips/). Unfortunately I just don't have as much time as I'd like to spend here, reading through your posts.

I got my update yesterday.

I'm Altanta, GA got my cupcake yesterday around 2:30pm after rebooting becuase my G1 was being sluggish, and I am loving it the phone is 10x better! I'm loving the bluetooth stereo!

If you haven't gotten yours yet try rebooting.
