    It will make the internet overall better, If you like myspace you can listen to music on peoples page, listen to bands music on they're page I believe. If you don't like only watching youtube videos all the time now you can watch videos from any site. I wonder if we will be able to play mini games on game sites too?

    Great for those streaming movie/tv sites that use Flash.

    Google. If Andy doesn't want Flash then he wouldn't be up there showing off a demo of it.

    Yeah, but Google won't be bringing Flash to anyone. They can want it, as can you and I, but wanting it doesn't mean that they are giving the people what they want. That still falls in Adobe's lap.

    SUPPORTED Flash can only be brought to us by Adobe. Windows is CAPABLE of running PhotoShop, that doesn't mean Microsoft is bringing graphic artists what they want.

    Addendum: P.S. I wish that someone would have taken the time to spell Andy's name correctly (Rubin) before posting the article.

    I see what your saying but you have to remember Adobe is bringing it to the iPhone but Apple has not allowed it.

    In the end its Google's call.

    Which I think, is actually my point. Allowing something isn't giving it. Adobe is still the one giving/providing support.

    In any event... I bet you see Flash on iPhones after it makes its way to Android. I predict that when Apple sees a competing product sporting the feature and their customers crying "Foul!" that they cave. I'm not a bookie, but if I were that's where my Vegas money would reside.

    If they do release flash for the G1 then they're going to give it to us in a firmware update with other goodies included, hopefully multi-touch, exchange support, aim update, better alarm and of course the Market Place will come out of beta. I would gamble on a firmware update either in janurary or feburary.

    @All~G1
    Wi-fi symbol in the left corner with a question mark, is just cause he has the "wi-fi network notification up" it just tells him that there is an open network available for him to join to get wi-fi access. And he does have a data connection. He's not running off 3G he's streaming the video off EDGE which is a data connection. Hope that helps and i believe i'm correct on the information i stated.

    Thank God for this. Now we wont have any more morons on the market yelling at devs to "write a flash program". Because you know its easy just to pull a program thats fully integrated with the browser and uses a format that adobe protect like gold out of our asses.
