Extended G1 battery life anyone?

Wouldn't the extended back cover mess with the camera? Because of the hole?

It's not worth it, just stick a spair battery in your wallet or something (they aren't that big)

i don't get you people. my phone will stay charged from 7am until about noon the next day, that's almost 30 hours.

i make calls, text, play limited games, always have 3g, wifi and gps on. are you people just sitting in your mom's basement watching soft-core porn on youtube all day?

That could be the case. Or if you have Gmail, Twidroid and Touchdown constantly sicking along with sending numerous e-mails the battery begins to go. On average I make at least 1 hour of phone calls a day and this does drain the batter, hence is why I have to charge my phone every evening.

you'd get it if you had one of the phones that scores of other people are having issues with. the battery life is a well known issue for some,not for others. apparently tmobile is even acknowledging this. consider yourself lucky.

I ordered the $16.99 2300 mha extended battery from ebay. Its the one that has the backpack hump instead of the full back. I think the hump would feel smaller than the seidio one. Plus you can buy 3 of those extended batteries for the price of one seidio extended battery.

i really think alot of people over exaggerate the size of it,calling it a brick,etc. yes, it's big. ok, we get it. i think alot of people are simply used to carrying a slimline razr or similar style cell. holding the g1 with the seido backdoor on does not feel like i'm holding a 28 oz. hammer. if you can tell the weight difference, then you're a walking triple beam scale. while holding it, it does not feel like a brick. to me, it actually feels more secure in my hand. i always say to each his own. but unless you physically held it, you don't know what it's like. me, i'm very glad i bought it. i'm not walking up to chicks showing my phone off. hell, if some chick asks, i'll just tell her it's got a mini nuclear fusion reactor built in. but in the meantime, i'll be enjoying not worrying that i forgot my spare charger. now that i think about it, if you're out and about, and you hate the extra weight\bulk of the phone,where do you put the bulky charger that you have to carry? and if you don't have to carry one because you were gifted with great battery life, this does not refer to you.

My battery life is abismal! The phone gets unplugged at 8am and has to be plugged up again around 1 pm and this is with minimal use. I carry an extra charger in my purse and plug the phone in evry chance I get bc it also sometimes will show 30% battery and just turn off when I plug it in it will say it only has 1% its driving me insane

Have you tried that battery out yet? Has anyone else ordered/used any of the extended batteries on ebay? For $16.99 shipped for a 2300mah battery, I'm thinking it might be worth the try?
