"I called TMobile about battery problems I had. They recommended I call HTC Support directly at 888-716-3594.
They ended up shipping me another battery at the cost of $29.99 plus $7.00 shipping and $2.47 for sales tax - came to a grand total of $39.46. They also sent me an RMA ticket, so I can send my old battery back to them. They should then credit the $39.46 back to me.
I noticed both the new and the old batteries are 1150mAh. The old one has a part # 35H00106 - 01M and the new one is 35H00106 - 02M.
I just got it today (took one day to get here - Houston to Dallas), so I haven't had a chance to try out the new battery yet. I'm considering keeping both. I'll let the new one charge overnight tonight and see how things work the next few days before deciding on sending the old battery back.
Anyone gone this path? I'm so not looking forward to getting the big battery and cover. "
This is in response to the quote above. Why did you have to pay for another battery? If I'm correct the phones just came out last year in October, so you should still have a year warrenty on the item. I had to get a new battery because mine was heating up too much on my phone. So the person sent me out a new battery, told me to keep my old one as a backup and I wasn't charged charged anything. Furthermore why would T-Mobile refer you to HTC if it is a product that they are promoting with THEIR name on it? I've been a Tmobile customer for over 7 years and if there is one thing I am a stickler about it is what the warrenty should cover; to me the battery is definitely one of the things.
i want a FREE battery![]()

I've been lookin on ebay to check out the different sizes of batteries. In a nutshell can someone tell me the battery life on the extended options? Which one in your opinion is really worth the money? Thanx
2200mAh
2300mAh
2400mAh
2500mAh
2600mAh
I heard that G1 can go for about 15-20 days on one charge ... it is very simple - you shut-off the phone COMPLETELY...
Ok, the point is: why are you buying the phone on which you will shut-off 90% options that it was made for?????
How about this: there is a aGPS, 3G, 370MHz, 16.7M colors, 2.6" LCD, Navi, full keyboard, MMS, recording in VGA @22fps, 3.2 AF camera, etc - that has a battery which will last AVG 5-7 DAYS... now you tell me that is insane![]()

I called T Mobile today, also about the poor battery life, and they told me the same thing, to call HTC.
They told me the T Mo warranty is for three months, and that HTC has a one year warranty.
Frankly, if HTC will send me a new battery and refund the purchase price in full, that's fine with me. Why would I care WHO replaces the battery, as long as it gets replaced for free.
