Extended G1 battery life anyone?

well cupcake helped my stock battery just a little. but its ALOT better with this 2400mah battery.

Nice, since there are still mixed reviews about the cupcake fixing the battery problem ill just wait and see. If its nothing special, then im definitely buying a new battery.

My increase was SIGNIFICANT. I used to get 6 to 8 hours if I left 3G off. Now I get about 13-15 with 3G on. No idea how a software update could do that. But it did.

I also got the 2200mah battery from Amazon.com today (Camron Sino Battery). Waiting to see what that plus cupcake equals in battery life.

Cupcake didn't seem to have any affect at all on my battery life: good, bad, or otherwise.

I have the 2600 mah battery and yes it makes the phone a little heavy and the sound of ringer is a little muffled. What I did was pick Mechanical pencil that included a rubber grip, then I trimmed the rubber grip and glued on the inside cover by holes in back cover. That fixed the sound problem and since it is rubber it should not cause any problem. As for thickness, it is easier for typing and the indentation for camera is perfert for my index finger and I do not worry about smugging camera. I went from charging 3 times a day (disabled and I use phone a lot, 2-4 hour surfing, heavy email and texting, and about 3 hours on phone) now charge overnight and good all day.

I just got my batterie from ebay also brand new under $25. I sent the payment in thursday and got it Monday morning .. best move I made all year ! I love this batterie, and my cover does not have this dent on the back that I been seeing around ebay. If you have not gotten this battery yet go get it !! your wasting your time trying to look for another alternative man.. Trust me this is the best alternative for the G1 battery problem I tried so many and none satisfied me like this battery does. I feel like I now have a phone !! I am real happy with this.. I also got a 4gb of extra space and i'm good now Come on guys stop being miserable the extra thickness is a welcome site to me because now I can actually grip it better and it looks cute in some way it looks different yes but in a good way.. think about it you will finally end that "low battery" problem and dont get the portable charger I got that before the extended battery and it sucks there is nothing like this Battery PERIOD ! You be a fool not to get this I'm serious.. You guys Get IT! what are you waiting for ? lol wow I cant say nomore but if you do not get this battery your wasting your time with anything else ..
