Also their is a mistake in my review about the instant messaging clients. Gtalk,AIM,Windows Live, and Yahoo are included, not the ones stated above... Yeah Kaz, we are posting about the Wired blurb here - http://androidcommunity.com/forums/f...html#post18597

We are also finding your words popping up on other sites...doggone watchdogs!
G1 is so good, they ought to make it a vitamin!

We all know there is a lot of good. The bad though is what has yet to be reported. It really stands out among people. And T-Mobile so far is the only source that has really reported on this and shown it to us. They wont tell you the negatives. Wired was really only giving people the answers that they are looking for, where does it come short? Someone has to play the devil's advocate.

I understand that, but did they have to title the article "G1 is buggy says reviewer"? That makes it sound like the G1 is crap - not taking the whole review in and just focusing on the negative.

Then again...what am I thinking? The author of this blog is obviously trying to get a lot of traffic to his site (and I helped him! fancy that...lol). What better way to do that then to post something, I think, was negative about a device that hasn't been released yet.

You are being really nice... r u on their payroll...lol
Thats decent though, until we hear Wired say: "More reviews from user's @ AC - Yahoo msg is included, battery was hot because.... blah blah blah"

    Just sayin...

when you are on call for a long time, does the bottom of the phone get as hot as when it is being charged on the battery charger?

    great review!

so i guess to get the $19.99 data plan you have to do it when the G1 is released? because the website for pre orders only give you the $25 or $35 data plan options w/ the text

I just respect what they are saying and their opinion. I know how good they are at what they do, I see where they are coming from and what they are doing.

I don't understand how this phone could not be the final version of the product when the release is 13 days away?

What can they do to "fix" the known issues and release a "final version" that is days away?

Can someone explain this to me?
