    Hi Guys,

Just arrived to this forum, got my G1 a few days ago I must say that even though it has a GPS it doesn't preform so well, I have a lot of trouble with it.

I'm looking around the for a solution to this GPS problem, all I found up to know are people with the same problem as mine.

This is the closest I got

Please post here if you have a solution for this problem.

    Thank you,
    Jen.

JennyP, what exactly is the problem? You could have a setting wrong, but you need to give more information. I used my GPS yesterday and it worked fine. Now it didn't talk to me, but it got me from point A to Point B with no problems.

Maybe i was just thinking GPS was working when i got my phone??? I thought everyone knew the GPS was on the G1????

jennyP that solution you posted just tells you to turn it on. I guess thats a solution?? Its like assuming that all non working electronics don't work because they are all unplugged and all users aren't smart enough to plug them in?

O yeah everyone, the GPS function works if best if you have a clear view of the sky. Just thought i would throw that out there...
cant put this damn phone down...
