They need to do a few things:

1.) Make it so I don't have to put my first AND Last name on there.
2.) Give you an ability to delete your own 'buzzes'

I was trying to do this in the Trans Bay Tunnel but it had me in Oakland (which makes sense no GPS underground) but when I looked up, I couldn't delete it.

Ah - So I can delete from the Web, but not from phone.

i agree, no first and last name, but i like the ablitiy to pick your own location instead of auto
Even After I'm dead and gone, my name will forever remain! Legendary!!!!

I also agree that they could make the Android application more robust and allow for some better functionality. I would personally like to see a dedicated application or tighter integration into the OS rather than the webapp.

Either way, I would like to see Buzz added to the "Share" menu. For example, when you are on a website and you click Menu and go to Share you can select Mail, SMS, Facebook... it would just make sense to have Buzz.

I am sure things will improve as the service grows.
It's not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me

i think you can remove your last name at http://www.google.com/profiles

edit your profile, uncheck "display my full name"

You can do that and select a nickname, but you can't post at all.

Yeeeah - I just saw this like 10m ago or something. I'm sitting in for the Help Desk at my job, so I decided to take a peek at it online. So now I'm Ward again, phew.

I will say, this is pretty dope. I don't really know anyone in my area, so now I can just read some of these and see where the hot spots are.

It would be nice (and djunio said dedicated app is in the making) if I could do more editing / administration over my own 'buzzes' or whatever from the Map layer. I'm sure the full app will allow it.

This could be pretty damn awesome - or scary in the future.

When you remove the option to display your first and last name (without wanting to change it to something else) you remove your privilege to comment on other people's buzz posts and you can't "like" them without making yourself publicly searchable again. The only way around it is by changing your first and last name, which changes on every Google related service you use. At least, that's how I understand it.
