it is slow because it is probably an older prototype. the kicker(?) plate was blank where the wireless carrier logo should be. compare it to images of the phone with Verizon branding

Four rows is not adequate?! I cannot even think of a device with more than 4 rows... all BlackBerries have 4 rows, and they have the best keyboards on the market, in my opinion (great tactile response, accurate, simple to type on).

The thing I do not like about the keyboard is the rectangle design and the d-pad. I wish the keyboard was offset and that the d-pad was a trackball or some other input device (possibly a trackpad like the new blackberries).

lol have you ever heard of the g1? or maybe the sidekick?

5 row keyboards are the way to go!

count the rows on your laptop/computer (not counting f1-f12) and then get back to me lol

    That is true!! lol

I am perfectly happy with a 4-row keypad on a wireless device though... I am coming from the 'BlackBerry world' so don't hate me, but all of the BlackBerries I have ever used have 4 rows... and their keypads are awesome!

5 row is definitely better. Dedicated numbers really make things alot easier.
