    They aren't scared?

I have to say that I've never heard a company say, "I am scared of the competition." You know that they have fear in their hearts

    True true...

We see what happens in 5 years.

Considering how big Microsoft is, Windows mobile will always be around no matter what.

I think in 5 years, the major players in the smart phone business will be iPhone and Android OS.

Puts a hell of a lot of pressure on WM7 doesn't it- if they bring out a dud like vista then i think they could be in a lot of trouble......if WM7 rocks then it may come down to how well Android has been developed- people will always prefer a cheap phone over an expensive phone (due to M$ fees) if they both have similar actions...

Talk about sabotaging a product lmao
What does the government have to do with Google's innovative spirit? Just put out a better product and price it competitively Steve.

Cool Re: Microsoft's Ballmer on Android: We're not worried

Okay, first of all I respect Ballmer for defending his Company but come on! Microsoft's XP was the first OS that took away the freedoms/rights of the Owner/User of that OS which was geared towards Greed. Now you have Apple using the same tactics to feed their Greed as well. I know nothings Free but at least there should be a reasonable balance and care for the consumer as well and Google and the Android OS gives us hope of that balance and freedom to enjoy what we're spending our hard earned money for. And if Microsoft don't know/care enough about what consumers need in a search engine by now, they will never know. Google and Ask Jeeves have been the only Search Engines that I've used since owning a CPU and Microsoft still don't have a clue because they can't totally relate to the User's needs. Maybe Ballmer/Microsoft and companys with that same mindset will change with the Bad Economy's help. Google will make some Companys rise and some that don't want to change their greedy ways fall! I see the MobileNetEra making a True Start here.
