There is a little knob-like thingy in the middle of the dpad. That's why I was wondering if that was a trackball.

The MOTOBLUR interface is gorgeous, looks like HTC will have to do some work with Sense.

    (also with a G1 here)

I wish them success, and perhaps there is a niche market for this phone with the Facebook/Twitter crowd, but this won't be my upgrade from the G1.

    Reasons:

Marginal internal memory upgrade from 192 to 256mb -- soooo NOT good enough

    No improvement in processor speed

Prefer G1 keyboard to this 3 row keyboard

No trackball ... like my trackball

Smaller screen? -- they're kidding, right?

Has headphone jack and better camera, but that's not enough

    ... Keep on walkin'

already got a G1... but for newcomers in to android its a nice device, but not worth the uppgrade from G1.... Im waiting on the Sholes modell, that looks sweet. And definatly an uppgrade for us G1 users!
