Youmail provides the same functionality within the existing apps -- email and messaging. No need for me to install another app and take up precious real estate, but it's great to have options for others.
ASUS eee Pad Transformer en route!! T-mobile G2 in hand, N1 on loan to my daughter. G1 on ice.

Hi everyone. My name is Michael Manna and I represent PhoneFusion. First off, I'd like to thank everyone for commenting on FVM Plus for Android. We're very excited about the Q4 release of the app. Please keep in mind that what you are looking at today is a beta and not the final product. We just wanted everyone to experience how cool the technology is with FVM Plus. Now that we've proven the apps works, it's time for our graphic artists to make it pretty. As I said, after they do their magic, the app will be available by the end of Q4. Now as far as the "colors":

Your messages will display as follows:
    • Yellow = message taken but not downloaded
    • Red = marked for deletion (deleted when you empty trash) - Note that if you don’t
empty your trash your mailbox may fill up.
    • Dark Green = NEW (not listened to)
    • Light green= OLD (listened to)

This is displayed in the users guide for FVM Plus along with any other help you may require. Also, if anyone has any questions or suggestions, we welcome all feedback. Please feel free to email us at support@phonefusion.com. Thanks for your time and have a great day.

    Michael

    P.S.
    It's completely FREE.

I will be posting a video of the FVM Plus app on the T-Mobile G1 by the end of next week. Remember that this is beta, but we are working hard to get the final release to you.

Yeah, like someone else said, you can set up Youmail to email mp3 recordings of your messages to you. You can the listen to the mp3 voicemail directly from the G1. Super easy and convenient.

This way uses your 3g, EDGE, or local network traffic.

For now this may work but, we need immediate access to visual voicemail.

    YouMail

Fusion VoiceMail is already on Palm, Windows Mobile and Blackberry.

It will cost you money through other providers

Hey everyone. After hearing some great feedback about the look of the UI, our people have been working hard to make it much prettier...and have. Here is a pic of the new look. As you can see, we offer the choice of either a black or white skin. I will be getting my G1 today and uploading a YouTube video demonstrating the FVM Plus app. Remember that this is a Beta and we are, still, working hard to get the final release out asap.

Also, we have set up an email especially for the Android community. You can communicate with us at androidfeedback@phonefusion.com.

Thanks again and keep the feedback coming!
