Looks like the Vodafone version of the Magic is coming, which means no 5MP camera.

If this is anything like the introduction of the iPhone3G, then it will be ~$200 on a 3 year contract with $60 for 1MB of data. Then again Robbers may suprise everyone.

With little competition and predatory plans that devastate consumers with overage fees, mobile data in Canada is not recommended. Real mobile data devices like the G1 and Magic will only let Canadians approximate a rich mobile-web life...that is unless you Wardrive WiFi. I rooted a G1 last week here in Canada under Rogers AT&T. It cost $30. in data just to activate the phone and complete the process..that was only to active, all subsiquent files needed where copied from a PC! I will be very interested seeing what prices accompany these Android bad boys. Keep fingers crossed for Globalive, and don't sign a lengthy contract is my advice.
