I like the additional menu options with this update! When is it gonna be available? Better yet, is there a website to download it from?

If flash comes out for the G2 and it "can't be ported, according to t-mobile" it'll be a done deal, ours will be on e-bay within the day.

They're money is really in the plans, so if shady business practices start coming, the only thing we can do as consumers, is vote with our $$$, and if the G1 stops getting useful updates, then that is a company I don't wish to do business with.

So I guess you are cool with 6 month old obsolete phone? Those updates don't make it to the G1, and this forum is going to be full of "Drama Queens".

To each his own, but I prefer to not get bent over every six months. Drive on, fanboy, drive on...

Not to pile on but seeing how it'll take a GOOD long while before any Android update is completely incompatible with G1 phones, there is no logical reasoning for T-Mobile NOT to send out updates since folks would be able to hack them onto phones anyway. Thus the sentiments of "if they don't update this phone then iPhone it is!" seems alittle drama'ish since it could be at least a couple of years before we get to that point of hardware being too old.
Spring is upon us! Woo hoo!!
