Uh, have you guys seen how much their phone plan costs? That should explain why.

I was really frustrated with T Mobile here in the UK in the past few days and I hope Google and T Mobile read this site to get feedback.

I visited the Putney, London store for T-Mobile three times to demo the G1. On Saturday I was told that the store was given only one demo G1 and a customer had broken it. They said they expected to have a replacement demo by Sunday, Nov 2. I visited the store on Sunday but the phone replacement, which had arrived, was too low on battery and they were too busy to demo it. Today, Monday, I visited the store again and there was only one salesperson (usually there are two) and he has lots of complaints from two different customers: one on a Nokia phone and the other on some other handset (not G1). He had the back off one phone and was trying to fix it and said he could not demo the G1 because he was too busy. Again, he said the battery was low.

What gives? Is T Mobile serious in London or not? Putney High Street is a busy shopping street and if I am representative, they are just too understaffed to handle the traffic for G1.

    Comments?
