Nope, everything will be sync via Google service, hence you will need a gmail account. So start writing those contacts down

The only way to check tmail addresses is through the sidekick APN, which is only accessible from handsets with an IMEI in the Sidekick range.

If you're just worried about getting your contact info from your Sidekick to GMail, try spending the $10 for Intellisync for Sidekick (available for purchase through your Sidekick Desktop Interface inside my.t-mobile.com). It will download all contacts and calendars into your Outlook on your computer.

I talked to a Tmo rep and she said that there selling out as fast as they can get them, she said yesterday they ran out and today they have them back. There must be a daily limit.
