I'll make my own decisions on this phone after I have it! The early reviews are pointless as far as I'm concerned. Give it 3 months people and let's see how this phone stacks up.

ATOS on G4 had a very favorable review last night, giving the hardware a grade of 87% and the OS 95%.

Sadly, Olivia Munn wasn't there to lick it.

The way I see it... We're all reading reviews by people that get paid to find the pros, and cons of a new product. Mostly cons if you ask me. Like I said above most of the issues don't concern me.

Camera on the phone.... Please! Only time I use the camera on my phone is to take a pic of my sack, and send them out to friends as a joke, but that's a whole other story in itself.

Video Camera... I don't care if it has one, or not. I'll never use the damn thing anyways.

GPS... I can see this being fixed very soon. How many times would I actually use it...? I don't know...? Never really needed to use GPS for anything before.

The phone is new, and running off a new OS never used, or seen by all of us. It's what's expected with new electronics, and gadgets. Hell, I remember when I got my first XBOX 360, and PS3 on the first day it hit the market. OMG, the bugs, and issues were out of control! What's this...? System update...? NICE!!!! My system work sweet now. Expect the same thing guys... a few updates, and the phone will be MONEY. I'm sure of it.

Just hang tight, ride the wave till you hit the shore, it'll all be fine. Till then... pop open a Corona, and relax. The end of the world is nowhere near.

Yeah if the battery is good enough to get me through the evening, its fine. I always keep my charger at work. Initial problems especially those stemming from 3g coverage and gps are to be expected. People buying a device like this have to realize that they are basically beta testers. Early adopters of new technology always are. If you're jumping into this head first thinking that everything is going to work perfectly, you're dreaming.

I'll make my own judgemnt and own review of the G1 once I recieve it myself. Most of the issues that the reviewers are griping about are things that any AC user has known about for weeks. From what i read there are no major deal breakers for me. Forget what the haters say my love has not wained from the G1

I cant wait for my g1 to come on the 20th i dont care what any blog site has to say about it what ive seen so far i love. Now this is the very first phone and i figure it will come with some draw backs and issues but just like any brand new car you buy there will be recalls and lets be clear most people have other phones this will not be there first phone so if the phone turns out to be a complete bust our sim cards will be returned to our old phone (sk lx for me)

I'm definitely still getting one! There's lots of great excellent things to do with it regardless of the few pitfalls. Many of which can be adjusted, fixed or refined by either Google updating their OS or users creating things to do as they please! Over time this phone will just continue to get better and better especially as other physical phones come out with Android. Bring on more phones! I'm actually excited about the use of the keyboard/trackball use. From what I've seen in video it looks like it's useful and intuitive.

It seems the downside is I might use a little extra $ to buy a second battery, haha.

ummm.. from the reviews I saw on some sites I think those issues are not major issues because it could be fixed by updating the system ..
I used a lot of mobiles OS's and all of them needed update specially if they were new so all of the software issues are really not a big deal..

the only concern is the Arabic support and I suppose it has some developers working on it and i saw some efforts in that field .. i hope to get my phone as soon as possible I already pre ordered one from the ebay and it will be shipped soon...

hopefully i will be making a review in Arabic for it and i will help the community by letting people to know about it here in the meddle east region..

    keep up the good work

sorry for my bad English because it is not my first language ...
