T-Mobile G2 hits stores the end of January with video calling! [Updated]

Uh... I don't think anyone's able to substantiate this claim.

But even if they do release new Android devices, isn't it what we're all hoping for? Why does it bother us that it's called the "G2" instead of something else? We're not sad that Huawei and a bunch of other companies are rolling out Android devices.

Definitely great for the platform overall. However this would be a slap in the face from T-mobile. We help get the hardware and OS off the ground by being the pioneers. And then with in only a few months find out that we were the guinea pigs for a new and improved piece of hardware and OS? It's like finding out Dr. Moreau made you so he could create and spoil your new and improved clone more than you. Leaving you alone and unfinished!

I don't know what's more amusing -- that someone thought this was a legitimate product or some G1 owners insisting they deserve the "newer" device and not the one they paid for.

But than again, maybe you are gullible considering that you guys never believe that G1 was multi-touch capable. When you guys saw a demo of it, you made it like it's big news to everybody when in fact, it's old news.

its a big Lie is what i can say. just talked to two tmo reps and they said they have no knowledge of any g2 being released. the only release they know of is a new color of the shadow being released on the 28th. makes me feel a whole lot better to say the least.
